  Holds an edge remarkably well. The spine is thick enough for batoning but still slices well. This knife is worth twice the price.

  The steel maintains its edge through heavy use. The edge retention is better than any knife I've owned. The blade coating shows minor wear after heavy use. Wish I had bought it sooner!
